Applications:
- Welded joints between high alloyed steels and low alloy or mild steels. Welding of high manganese alloy steel. Welded joints on structural and heat-treatable steels with high carbon content. For depositing tough, stress-equalising buffer layers when armour-surfacing with hard alloys. Wear-resisting armour coatings on rails, shunting points, switchpoint cores and impact plates.
Characteristics:
- Austenitic high-yield electrode for weld deposits with high strength and elongation values. Yields 160% metal recovery. Rust-proof and non-scaling up to 850°C. The weld metal is tough, crack-proof and wearresisting.
